iCAT 2012

iCAT 2012 Conference

The next iCAT conference will be held in September 2012, in Maribor, Slovenia. In 2012, Maribor will be the European Capital of Culture, transforming from a once industrial city to a more modern, creative city, constantly developing successful cooperation among cultural, industrial, and research domains.

In this spirit a three day conference will be organized that will once again bring together experts, researchers, experienced users, and newcomers, from the additive manufacturing field.

iCAT 2012 special topics:

Design - expanding creativity with Additive Technologies,
Medical Applications within the framework of Additive Technologies.

Call for Papers:

Authors are kindly invited to prepare papers or products that cover one of the conference topics:

Additive Manufacturing and Rapid Tooling,
Materials for Additive Technologies,
Quality Control for Additive Technologies,
CAD and Innovative Simulation Methods,
Customer Input Systems and Mass Customisation,
Case Studies and Best Practice Examples,
Education for Additive Technologies,
or one of the iCAT 2012 special topics..

We are inviting papers for both oral and poster presentations. Deadline for abstract submissions is May 31^st, 2012. Abstract and paper submission is possible after registration.
